Words for the Future, our 125th anniversary celebration.
Parker will immortalize the words of its contemporary young inspiring leaders as well as the words of all those who want to contribute to the future of new generations and leave their Words For the Future.
Because Words are inspiring, pass through time and travel across nations.
The written word inspires us all. Just a few lines on paper can immortalize ideas, motivate change and mobilize action. Because the words we speak may be heard by many, but the words we write down transcend time.
Parker believes in the importance of the written word of the past, in the present and for the future. This is why on PARKER's 125th anniversary, we will celebrate the act of writing itself by collecting, exhibiting and sharing the written words from global and local key opinion leaders such as Cameron Sinclair, Executive Director of Architecture for Humanity and Robyn Scott, writer and CEO of OneLeap, to inspire others for their future.
Parker has over a century-old legacy of accompanying people as they write their own story.
125 years have passed since 25-year-old visionary George Safford Parker, teacher in telegraphy, found himself frustrated with leaking pens and decided to create the Parker pen company. Firmly believing that "It will always be possible to make a better pen", George S. Parker set the route for a long line of breakthrough technology innovations establishing the company as one of the world's leading fine pen brands.
